These terms govern your use of writtenandkept.co and any story you order from Written & Kept ("we," "us," "our"). By submitting the "Tell Your Story" form or placing an order, you agree to them. If something here doesn't make sense, ask us: hello@writtenandkept.co.
Written & Kept creates a custom, private digital keepsake page that tells the story of your relationship, built from the details, photos, and memories you share with us. Each story is written and assembled individually — we do not use templates filled with placeholder content, and we do not reuse one couple's story for another.
Current pricing is listed on The Experience page. Orders are a one-time payment for one story. Once payment processing is live on this site, checkout will be handled securely through Stripe; we do not store your full card details ourselves.
After you submit your details and complete payment, we'll follow up to gather any additional material we need — photos, memories, quotes, and anything else that helps us tell your story well. We'll then write and build your story page and share a draft with you.
Your order includes a round of revisions on the draft before it's considered final, so you can ask us to adjust wording, details, or emphasis before delivery. Requests for revisions should be reasonably related to accuracy and tone rather than a full rewrite of the story's direction.
Your finished story is delivered as a private, unlisted link. It is not published publicly on this site, not indexed by search engines, and not shared with anyone beyond who you choose to share it with.
If you cancel before we've begun writing your story, you're entitled to a full refund. Once drafting has begun, refunds are considered case by case, since the work is custom and time is invested per order. Once your final story has been delivered and approved, the order is considered complete and non-refundable.
This refund policy is a starting draft — confirm or adjust the specifics before this page is treated as final.
The words, memories, and details you share remain yours. We will not use your story publicly — in marketing, as a portfolio example, or anywhere else — without asking you first and receiving your explicit consent. The single published example story on this site was written for that purpose with real names replaced for privacy.
Everything you share with us to build your story — names, photos, private memories — is treated as confidential and used solely to produce your order.
The Written & Kept name, logo, site design, and underlying page templates are our property. Your individual story content is yours, as described above.
We do our best to deliver a thoughtful, accurate, and meaningful story, but we can't guarantee a particular emotional outcome. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any issue with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
