Written & Kept ("we," "us," "our") creates custom, private digital keepsakes that tell the story of your relationship. This policy explains what information we collect when you use writtenandkept.co, how we use it, and how we protect it. Information We Collect

When you submit the "Tell Your Story" form, we collect what you choose to share with us — typically your name, your partner's name, your email address, an anniversary or special date, and any details about your story you include. If you move forward with an order, we'll ask for additional material to build your story: photos, written memories, quotes, songs, and similar personal content you send us directly.

When payment is live on this site, checkout will be handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — Stripe processes payment directly and shares with us only what's needed to confirm your order (such as the amount paid and a transaction reference).

How We Use Your Information

• To build the custom story page you're ordering.
• To communicate with you about your order — drafts, revisions, delivery, and any questions.
• To process payment and keep basic business records.
• To improve this website and the Written & Kept experience.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with data brokers.

Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on a small number of trusted services to run Written & Kept:

• Netlify — hosts this website and processes the "Tell Your Story" form submission.
• Stripe — will process payment once checkout is live on the site. Stripe has its own privacy policy governing the payment information you give it directly.
• Spotify — some finished story pages include an embedded Spotify song player. If you interact with that embed, Spotify's own privacy policy applies to that interaction.

Your Story's Privacy

This is the part we care about most. Your finished story lives on a private, unlisted link. It is never indexed by search engines, never listed publicly on this site, and never shared with anyone other than the people you choose to send it to. We do not use your story publicly — in marketing, portfolio examples, or anywhere else — without asking you first and getting your clear consent.

Data Retention

We keep the information and materials tied to your order for as long as needed to build, deliver, and support your story, and afterward as reasonable business and legal recordkeeping requires. If you'd like your personal materials deleted after delivery, email us and we'll take care of it, aside from the minimal records we're required to keep for accounting purposes.

Your Rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• See what information we have on file for you.
• Correct anything that's inaccurate.
• Delete your personal information, subject to the recordkeeping note above.

Cookies & Tracking

This site does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. If that changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

Children's Privacy

Written & Kept is intended for adults telling the story of their relationship. This site is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes affecting how we handle your information will be communicated directly if you have an active or recent order with us.
